1999 – The Journey Begins
After identifying a growing need for quality, stackable and linking seating in Queensland, we launched Civic Seating and developed a reputation for creating flexible, convenient seating for community venues.
2013 – A Shift in Focus
With 16 years of experience, we realised that flexibility was important for more than just community venues. Wanting to change the way Australians thought about educational spaces, we rebranded as Civic Australia, moving our head office to Western Sydney to focus on providing furniture for libraries, flexible learning spaces and auditorium spaces as well as community venues.
2018 – A Turn-Key Solution
With two decades of experience, we realised we could offer our clients more than just furniture and launched our turn-key Design + Construct service. By bringing together inhouse interior design, space planning, project management and Australian manufactured furniture, we work with clients from concept right through to completion, delivering impressive educational fit outs.
