Located in Kellyville in Sydney’s thriving north west, William Clarke College is an independent preschool to year 12 co-ed Anglican College that strives to develop extraordinary leaders.
Looking to the future, William Clarke College developed a Master Plan, designed to future proof the campus and maintain maximum green space through a series of staged developments.
Included within that Master Plan was The Branwhite Centre – a new state of the art science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics building that has been designed to “make learning visible”. Nestled amongst the classrooms are numerous breakout spaces, student study areas and general common areas that Civic Australia was brought in to provide furniture for.
Together with William Clarke College, we explored a range of furniture options including ottomans, low-back and high-back chairs, meeting tables and study booths with David Jennings from William Clarke College saying; “The process of determining the final order was helped by the excellent systems that Civic Australia have in place. The quote was well prepared with placement locations, pictures and colour choices.”

With the space now used for one school term, the feedback on The Branwhite Centre has been exceptional with the students using the breakout spaces for casual catch ups with friends, meal breaks and study periods. The study booths (pictured below) have also been particularly popular with students.
This is a standout project that we are privileged to have been a part of and we look forward to working with William Clarke College again.
“William Clarke College acquired occasional furniture from Civic Australia in 2020 for the student study areas and general common areas in its latest building. We worked with Civic in exploring a range of furniture options including ottomans, low-back and high-back chairs, meeting tables and study booths.
The students have used the furniture now for one school term and the feedback has been very good. They use the furniture well for casual conversation, meal breaks and study periods. The booths have been particularly popular and well used. We would recommend Civic Australia as a supplier.”
